It is extremely easy to grow this tree. The Dracaena Draco is endangered in the wild-it is a very rare, hard to find plant. It is in fact the undisputed king of the Dracaena family with its wild growth and exotic crown of umbrella shaped branching pattern.

The young plant has a single stem which flowers and causes branching. Two side shoots develop at the base of the flower and growth continues in this manner. When the bark or leaves are cut the plants secrete a reddish resin, aptly named "dragon blood."
