Jatropha podagrica
This is a delightful plant
with a very unusual appearance. The trunk develops its "belly"
close to the ground, then continues in an ever-growing stem. The
new leaves at the tip of the stem create a lush green crown from
whence the flower stems develop. It will bloom year-round in a
favorable environment.
This plant is very easy to grow and
doesn't require special care, other than protection from frost. In mild climates, this plant can be planted
out in the garden in a sheltered location.
It tolerates drought but rewards
regular watering with a beautiful foliage and frequent
flowerings.

Crotons are one of the most eye-catching plants. The leaf colors
are yellow, pink, red, orange, green. It is a leathery leafed
tropical shrub. It is well suited to use as foundation, accent,
specimen or container planting.
Croton 'Petra'
has broad leaves. The leaf coloration is an unpredictable
variation of yellow, pink, red, orange accented with green. The
veins usually are a lighter color.

DUST DRACAENA
Dracaena godseffiana
Florida Beauty is a very different, gorgeous Dracaena. The
richly variegated leaves are irregularly spotted with creamy
yellow. The yellow pattern pales to white as the leaves mature.
It has a shrub-like appearance. The 3-4” long leaves spiral around
the stems. This plant is often grown in dish gardens or
terrariums.
Florida Beauty needs bright light, but will tolerate lower
light conditions. It likes humidity – daily misting helps to
achieve that. Like most Dracaenas, Florida Beauty will hardly ever
give you any problems.
